Tinental won first place at the Grand Prix Innovation 2025, the award by CCI France Italie held on 20 November 2025 at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan. Six finalist start-ups pitched in front of institutions and an audience of more than 400 players of the French and Italian innovation ecosystem, and the first prize went to Tinental.
The Grand Prix Innovation is the award of CCI France Italie, the French Chamber of Commerce in Italy, dedicated to the ideas, talents and technologies that are redefining innovation between France and Italy. The 2025 edition, the fourth, took place at Palazzo Mezzanotte (Palazzo della Borsa) in Milan and brought together more than 400 players of the two ecosystems: institutions, entrepreneurs, investors and young founders.
Fourteen start-ups were in the competition, each nominated by a company or an institution. Six reached the final and pitched live in the Startup Arena, while the program included more than 100 B2B meetings and round tables on AI and deep tech applied to five areas: agritech, energy, healthtech and life sciences, fintech, and fashion and beauty tech.
The jury looked at environmental and social impact, alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, originality and innovativeness, and the composition and skills of the team.
First place went to Tinental, nominated by one of its large customers in Italy. Tinental combines AI, digital twin and IoT to generate immediate and measurable energy savings in industry: its plug-and-play device is connected to pumps and motors and adjusts their speed in real time to the actual demand of the system.
For Tinental the Grand Prix Innovation is a double recognition. It is an Italian-French award, and it goes to a company that chose to stay in Italy while also having offices in France. It comes with a collaboration with a large customer, active both in Italy and in Korea.
